This green Oak bench is placed round a Canadian Maple planted in 2020, a place to sit and reflect round the young tree.

A repeating form, the bench consists of eight identical legs. Two curved slabs slide together along opposing large dovetails meeting a shoulder, leaving an inner ring within the bench.

Each leg is then joined by dowels mortised so that once brought together the space between each component matches the internal ring.
