We were asked to design a scullery table, the client was looking for a sculpted leg with joinery features and character timber.

Oak with its beautiful grain, knots and medullary rays were the timber of choice. Freestanding in Oak, this taller style of table makes for a both a beautiful and practical work surface that commands the centre of the kitchen.

The height allows it be used for kitchen prep and hosting with room for stools underneath. When designing a piece of furniture it’s often the case that touch of flair can get overlooked in favour of function but adding small details can make a work into something truly unique.
